UTMB 2023
September 1, 2023, Chamonix-Mont-Blanc, 6:00 PM, Benoît embarks on his greatest sporting challenge: the UTMB, the Ultra Trail du Mont Blanc. A beautiful journey around Mont Blanc covering 171km with a 10,000m positive elevation gain. It's a childhood dream to be able to start in this legendary race, despite a Covid diagnosis just 7 days before the event. Unfortunately, persistent calf pain cut short this extraordinary adventure after nearly 120 km and over 24 hours of racing. However, the essence lay elsewhere, in the expression of values dear to our company and its associates.
PASSION: Exploring mountain trails has been a true passion for Benoit and Thomas since their early years.
PREPARATION: Hundreds of hours, thousands of kilometers, hundreds of thousands of meters of elevation gain and loss in recent years to be physically prepared.
TEAM SPIRIT: Thomas supported Benoit throughout his race, providing essential logistical and moral support to complete this course under the best conditions.
ENDURANCE AND SELF-DETERMINATION: Over 24 hours of continuous racing, 120km covered, 7000m of positive elevation gain, a full night of walking and running.
EMOTION: Living such an adventure deeply moved us, leaving us with indelible memories.
