PHOTO REPORTAGE ON THE HIGHLIGHTS OF 15 DAYS PURE ESCAPISM
After a summer of hiking trails in the Savoie, Thomas and Benoit went to Nepal for a 15 day break!
Benoit had already been to Nepal several times, in particular to climb Everest. This time, they made the journey as business partners.

Thomas, who was discovering the region for the first time was most impressed with the scenic grandeur. "When you are at 5,000 metres and there are still more mountain sides 3,000 metres above you, it's just awesome!"
They left in the autumn and found themselves almost on their own to enjoy the magnificent trails as it was the end of the trekking season. They didn't come across any mountaineers on the high peaks either as the climbing season had ended.
The vastness of the Himalayan landscape
Basic ingredients of Nepalese cuisine are rice and potatoes. A nice surprise on the trip was an inhabitant offering them his delicious homemade gnocchi! He had learnt to make them while working in a refuge in Italy. A little taste of home which is always a pleasure after 2 weeks of trekking on the other side of the world.

Thomas was also pleasantly surprised by the amenities along the route. There is always something to eat, to stay in or to take some electricity to recharge his phone. "It's pretty basic, but it still a significant degree of comfort during long days of walking".
